“For the first time the applicants will have to apply online for the BCS exams,” Public relations officer of the PSC Mir Mosharraf Hossain said on Wednesday. The PSC official also said that they will hold a media briefing on all the issues including the filling up of online forms. A press conference would be held at PSC on March 3 regarding form fill-up, he added. The 33rd BCS will be a general one as the 32nd was a special one, he also added.
A total of 4206 persons would be appointed through this BCS examinations. Of them, 112 in education cadre (teachers training college), 607 education college (general college), 2905 professional technical cadre and 582 will be appointed in general cadre. Of the general cadre 300 will be recruited in administration, 89 in police and 16 in foreign affairs through this 33rd BCS. [Data Source]
